Technical specification	Herzog’s automatic cup wheel grinding machine is specifically designed for preparing iron and steel samples for optical emission and XRF analysis. The sample is introduced into the machine either manually or via sample conveyor. The desired preparation parameters are set at the integrated operating panel in front of the machine. The sequence of clamping the sample, grinding by the cup wheel to a predetermined depth, cooling of the sample is fully automatic and PLC controlled. The machine is totally enclosed and sound insulated. Safety switches automatically deactivate the machine in case of malfunctions during operation, which are displayed at the integrated control panel. All required and pneumatic controls are installed in two (2) integrated cabinets. This machine requires the connection to a suitable dust collector. INCLUDED ACCESSORIES One (1) grinding wheel 200 mm OD x 51 mm ID x 100 mm high.
